Incoming Greater Accra NDC Regional Secretary Congratulates Newly Elected Branch Executives

Incoming Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Godwin Mahana Ayaba (GAM), has congratulated all newly elected Branch Executives across the region following the successful conclusion of the party’s branch elections, describing their victory as a call to dedicated service and grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2028 general elections.

In a statement issued after the branch election exercise ended on Sunday, July 20, Ayaba commended Constituency Executives and Election Committees across the Greater Accra Region for their commitment and professionalism in conducting the elections in line with the party’s guidelines and timetable.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all Constituency Executives and the respective Election Committees across the constituencies in the Greater Accra Region for your unwavering commitment, dedication, and hard work in ensuring the successful conclusion of the branch elections,” he stated.

He also congratulated the newly elected Branch Executives, urging them to see their election as a responsibility to serve the party with integrity, commitment, and dedication.

According to him, the confidence reposed in them by party members reflects the trust placed in their ability to strengthen the NDC’s structures at the grassroots.

Ayaba stressed that Branch Executives remain the backbone of the party’s organization and will play a critical role in mobilizing members, promoting unity, and laying a solid foundation for what he described as an emphatic NDC victory in the 2028 general elections.

He expressed confidence that the new executives would rise to the challenge and deliver on the expectations of the party faithful.

Highlighting the strategic importance of the Greater Accra Region, the incoming Regional Secretary noted that the region continues to be the heartbeat of Ghana’s electoral fortunes, making the work of Branch Executives indispensable.

He assured them that their contributions would be valued and supported as they carry out their responsibilities.

Ayaba further pledged to work closely with the newly elected executives in an atmosphere of collaboration, mutual respect, and shared purpose to build a stronger NDC in Greater Accra.

He concluded by calling on party members to remain united, focused, and committed to strengthening the party ahead of the next general elections, while wishing all Branch Executives a successful and impactful tenure in office.
