The President of the Model Union of Ghana and Chief Executive Officer of Versatile Model Agency, Rinner Ayelazoya (Mr. Versatile), has urged parents and the public to embrace modeling as a respectable profession that offers meaningful opportunities when pursued with the right guidance and training.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s Ghana Nie Lifestyle, he said every successful model should possess key qualities, including the ability to withstand pressure, the willingness to be an instrument of positive change, and the determination to pursue personal goals with discipline and commitment.

He noted that modeling is a legitimate profession, but the path an individual chooses determines their success. He cautioned that aspiring models who lack proper training, mentorship, and professional management can easily be misled, contributing to the misconception that modeling is associated with indecent dressing.

Mr. Versatile emphasized that professional modeling extends beyond the runway and includes fashion, skincare, commercial advertising, brand promotions, and other sectors that contribute to business growth and economic development.

He further revealed that Versatile Model Agency trains children and equips them with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the industry. He explained that many of the children participate in commercial advertisements for organizations, earning income that benefits both themselves and their parents.

Touching on the broader impact of the industry, Mr. Versatile said the agency is contributing to Ghana’s national development by attracting organizations and investors from other countries to work with local talent. According to him, these collaborations create employment opportunities, promote Ghana’s creative industry, and showcase the country’s rich pool of modeling talent to the international community.

He concluded by encouraging parents to support children with a passion for modeling, stressing that with proper guidance, discipline, and professional management, modeling can become a rewarding career that positively transforms lives and contributes to national development.
