The Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Dr. Samuel Amo Tobbin, has urged entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to be bold, embrace challenges and take calculated risks as they pursue success.
According to him, entrepreneurship requires courage, determination and the willingness to step outside one’s comfort zone, particularly in a competitive business environment.
“Take calculated risks, be bold, and embrace challenges if you want to succeed in business,” Dr. Amo Tobbin said.
Dr. Tobbin made the remarks when he addressed portion students at the 2026 Entexpo organized by Pentecost University, where he shared insights from his experience in business and encouraged young people to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
He emphasized that while risks are an inherent part of entrepreneurship, aspiring entrepreneurs must carefully assess opportunities before making decisions.

He further encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs not to be discouraged by setbacks, stressing that challenges can provide valuable lessons and opportunities for growth.
“Success in business does not come without challenges. You must have the courage to take calculated risks and remain focused on your vision,” he added.
His comments were aimed at inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs to pursue innovative ideas, create opportunities and contribute to economic development through sustainable businesses.
