The Chief of Brekuso in the Eastern Region, Odeofo Oteng Krongkye II, together with his elders and residents, has led a demonstration over the poor state of roads in the community.

Hundreds of residents joined the protest to demand urgent action from the government to fix the roads, which they say have become dangerous and difficult to use.

The demonstrators complained that the roads are filled with potholes and dust, causing damage to vehicles and creating health concerns for residents.

According to them, the dust from the roads is affecting children and other residents, while the poor road network is also affecting businesses in the area.

Addressing the media during the demonstration, Odeofo Oteng Krongkye II appealed to the government and the Ministry of Roads and Highways to urgently mobilise contractors to begin work on the roads.
