Akufo-Addo Govt has developed Accra better than previous governments-Titus Glover
Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover has asserted that the NPP Government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has so far been the best-performing government as far as development in the Greater Accra Region is concerned.
In an interview with Nana Yaw Fianko on Atinka FM’s AM Drive, the minister indicated that his government has constructed and rehabilitated a number of roads across the region, citing a number of flyover projects including those of Nungua Barrier and Kaneshie.
Touching on the projects of the government within the coastal areas, he revealed that sea defense walls have been constructed in Ningo Prampram and its enclave to prevent tidal waves from ravaging homes. This intervention he believes has saved a lot of people living near the shores of the Sea from becoming homeless.
He agreed that some of the traffic lights in the region are not working, but promised to repair them as soon as possible to guarantee the safety of road users.
The former Memeber of Parliament of Tema East used the opportunity to caution against unpatriotic and irresponsible behaviours that put the government in a bad light, underscoring the fact that we all need to play our infinitesimal roles to make our nation great.
