Atinka “Festival Feeling” train stops at Kwahu for Easter

Atinka Media Village, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group of Companies and operators of Atinka 104.7 Fm in Accra, Agyenkwa 101.9 fm in Kumasi and Ahortor fm 102.3 Fm in Takoradi, in collaboration with the Kwahu Obomeng Traditional Council brings to the people of Kwahu an unforgettable Kwahu Easter experience.

The “Festival Feeling” train scheduled to tour the whole of Ghana covering all major festivals makes its maiden stop at Kwahu Obomeng for the 2017 Easter celebrations. The celebration kicks start on Wednesday 12 April with a traditional cooking competition at the Kwahu Obomeng Palace. Indigenes of Kwahu will engange in a cooking competition.

The celebration continues on Thursday 13th April with a live telecast of Atinka TV’s Morning show “Ghana Nie” at the Nkawkaw main lorry station.

The event continues on Good Friday 15th April 2017 with Atinka AM Drive live from the Obomeng Palace in the morning. This will be followed by a mega football match between Abossey Okai Eleven  and Okwahu United in the afternoon.

Good Friday evening will witness “Akwaaba Night”, a night of music and dance at the “In between” Spot in Obomeng.The event will be climaxed with the Coronation of the Chief of Kwahu Obomeng, Nana Effah Opinamang III at a grand durbar at the Kwahu Obomeng Presbyterian School. Join Atinka Media Village on the Kwahu Mountains this Easter for an unforgettable Kwahu experience.
