The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is of the belief that their presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the NPP will win the elections against the opposition NDC.
The turnout at the 2024 general election has seen a decline, ranging between 50% and 60%, making it the lowest in modern history.
Despite the low turnout so far in the 16 regions, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the NPP, told the press at a press conference in Accra that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP are winning.
Despite the Electoral Commission’s successful execution of the exercise, he urged them to increase their vigilance as the voting period draws to a close.
Mr. Kodua appealed to Ghanaian citizens to move out and cast their vote.
He praised the vigilance of the NPP’s agents in the Volta Region and urged them to continue it until the count of the final ballot.
He assured all party supporters that they should remain calm, as Dr. Bawumia and the NPP will win the elections.
