Awake Purified Water donates to National Chief Imam ahead of Eid Ul Fitr

Management of Kasapreko Company Limited, producers of Awake Purified Drinking Water, has ahead of the Eid Ul Fitr celebrations made a donation to the National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Usmanu Nuhu Sharabutu.

The items which included several cartons of Awake Purified Mineral Water, packs of Storm Energy Drink, Kiki cocktail drinks and products from the Royal Drinks range are to serve as refreshments during the fasting period.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Chris Addo-Sarkodie, Marketing Manager for non-alcoholic drinks and water at Kasapreko Company Limited reiterated the vision of Dr. Kwabena Adjei (Founder of Kasapreko) and the company’s passion towards the support of activities that enhance the lives of people.

He indicated that, “We at Awake Drinking Purified (under the leadership of Richard and Eunice Adjei) are ardent believers in ensuring hearts continue beating and during this sacred period we want to emphasis the need for our Muslim brothers to stay hydrated not just with any water but with Awake Purified Drinking Water”.

He added that the donation to the Chief Imam follows a recent donation of GHC10,000 which was used to settle the hospital bills for 30 (thirty) needy new mothers at KATH as part of the Mother’s Day Celebration.

The month of Ramadhan provides a period for Muslims to concentrate their minds on devotion to their faith through prayers, expressing gratitude, seeking forgiveness and helping the needy. Additionally, observing the holy month of Ramadan allows Muslims to develop and strengthen their powers of self-control to enable them resist wrongful desires and bad habits.

Spokesperson to the National Chief Imam who received the donation expressed appreciation to Kasapreko and Awake Purified Drinking Water for the kind gesture.
