Former Tobinco MD inducted into office as Gen. Sec. of Bible Society of Ghana

The immediate past Managing Director of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Rev Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta, has been inducted into office as the new General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana.
The General Secretary at his induction ceremony at Tema, promised a total transformation and digitisation of the operations of the Society.
The induction service for Rev Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta as the 7th General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana at the Prince Of Peace Presbyterian Church in Tema, was graced by eminent clergymen and women as well as Board and Council members of the Bible Society of Ghana.
Amidst singing and dancing, members could not hide their excitement for the newly elected General Secretary who also doubles as a branch pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
Preaching on the theme,”Sent to Preach the Good News”, Rev Prof B Y Quarshie, Rector of the Akrofi Christaller Institute of Theology Mission, underscored the need for Christians to also take up the mantle of winning souls and living as the bible expects them to.
The climax of the induction service had to do with the swearing into office the General Secretary.
Taking his oath of office before the President of the Bible Society of Ghana, Rev Dr Joyce Aryee, Rev Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta, promised to abide by the tenets and values of the society.

In an interview with Atinka TV, the newly inducted General Secretary of the Bible Society Ghana, promised working to achieve the vision of the society of making the Bible available and affordable.
He promised to digitise the operations of the Bible Society to make it more attractive for the current generation.
He also called on well meaning Ghanaians to support the society to fulfil it mandate. According to him the society spent 18 dollars translating a verse from the Bible into a local language, whereas it spends over 3 million Ghana cedis translating a whole bible into our local language. Hence it’s a responsibility for all to support the Society.
Rev. Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta, who holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy PhD in Business Administration from the Swiss Management University and the Central University of Nicaragua, until his appointment was the immediate past Managing Director of the Tobinco Group of Companies.
Married to Mrs Sally Aryee-Atta and blessed with four children, he is also an ordained Minister in Charge of the Ascension Congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Tema.
