‘Gay laptops’: Pray for Ghana against LGBTQI- MP to pastors

pray

The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda, Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah has called on the Clergy, Imams and traditional leaders to pray for Ghana against LGBTQI.

Per his research, he said Ghana needs more of prayers than intervention to tackle the LGBTQI matter, explaining that it is bigger than it seems.

His comments come after some scouts of LGBTQI stormed Junior high schools and some senior high schools to donate laptops that have been programmed with pornographic content that seems to attract the youth into the gay fraternity.

It was reported that scouts of LGBTQ+ crusaders are making discrete incursions into campuses of Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools across the country, luring teenagers with assorted goodies to influence them to join the obnoxious activities of gays and lesbians.

Undercover investigations by the Vanguard newspaper in selected schools in Ashanti, Greater Accra, Eastern and Central Regions have established that the scouts are operating under different non-governmental organisations (NGO’s), brandishing non-existent tags and are distributing laptops programmed with pornographic contents which seems to attract the youths in their large numbers.

Additionally, underground youth groups have been formed and fluid nature of pornographic contents are distributed unto their mobile phones and iPad.

Speaking on Atinka TV‘s morning show, Ghana Nie with Ekourba Gyasi Simpremu, Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah said if the Christian fraternity calls for special prayers against LGBTQI, he will personally take part since “prayer can tackle the issue” aside the laws.

He noticed that although the laws of Ghana frowns on LGBTQI, the perpetrators are finding ways and means to reach the youth, hence the need to pray more instead of depending on state intervention.

“I have done my studies and I noticed that the people behind these things are big; it’s a cartel. Whatever means they can penetrate, they are using it to penetrate including the laptops. Which Headteacher will reject a laptop when someone offers them?. They will take it and when the children go home, they even know more about IT than the adults and they will be secretly watching stuff on it,” he said.

Mr Alexander Akwasi Acquah also said, “The LGBTQI people have money, there are big people behind it. We are still deliberating on the laws, but look at the way they are penetrating?.”

“I need pastors to come together, let us all go and meet at the stadium and urge Christians who believe that gay is an abomination and embark on an all-night prayer service to intercede for the country; I will personally get involved. Let the Imams also gather themselves and say this thing is not good and pray against it. I am a spiritual person, so I believe in prayers,” he added.
