”Engaging in sporting activities is something that shouldn’t be toyed with. Unfortunately, Ghanaians do not see the importance of sports and we have relegated it to the background. Everybody needs to engage some form of sporting activities,” Dr Opoku Ware Ampomah told Adusi Poku.

Dr. Opoku Ware Ampomah revealed that the sporting activities in Ghana have been centered on football leaving out all the other sporting activities.

“In Ghana it seems football is the only sporting activity, we have left out others such as field event, tennis and what have you. We also need to ensure that all these facilities are also made available for people to take part in these sporting activities,” he added.
