The Members of Parliament under the tickets of the National Democratic Congress, boycotted the swearing in of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 7th 2021.
Earlier, they stated that they will not be present at the ceremony which was held in parliament.
Although the NDC’s made it known that they will not be present, a section of the public were skeptical since the new Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin was drawn from their party.
Whiles he was present, all the members of the NDC did not show up at the event.
Meanwhile, there were a lot of dignatories from about 15 countries including the US, the UK, Congo, Togo, Ivory Coast and many others.
