Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has sent his "deepest" condolence to the family of Ebony, who died in a gory accident Thursday.
“My deepest condolences to the family of the songstress, Priscilla Opoku-kwarteng known in the entertainment industry as 'Ebony Reigns' and the families of the other two who lost their lives in the gory accident at Mankraso, last night. May their souls rest in peace,” the vice president posted on his Facebook wall.
According to reports, the 20- year old singer died on the spot when her jeep plunged into a ditch and summersaulted several times at at Mankranso in the Ashanti Region.
Ebony born, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was returning from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo when the unfortunate incident occurred. She was looking forward to celebrating her 21st birthday on the 16th of February.
The “Sponsor” hit maker died with two others- a soldier and a female companion. The driver, however survived the accident .
