Covid-19: Ghana records 339 new cases pushing total cases to 12,929

Ghana has recorded 339 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12,929, the Director of Public Health, Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sarkodie has revealed.
Dr Badu Sarkodie made the announcement at the Ministry of Information’s regular press briefing on coronavirus.
4,468 have recovered whiles number of deaths has risen to 66. 44 others are in severe condition, whiles 4 persons are critically ill and are on ventilation.
Dr Badu Sarkodie added that current active cases are at 8,395.
Out of the 339 new cases, 154 were recorded in the Greater Accra region followed by the Western region with 58 cases and then 41 cases in the Ashanti region.
Central region recorded 38, Eastern region recorded 15, Volta region recorded 3, Bono East region 9, The Northern region recorded 9 and Savannah region recorded 2.
