The overlord of the Gonjaland Traditional Area in the Savannah region, Yagbonwura Tintumba Boressah, has been confirmed dead.
Boressah II was the president of the Savannah Regional House of chiefs.
The Yagbonwura joined his ancestors on Sunday morning.
As custom and traditions of the area demand, there would be gathering of eminent chiefs and other stakeholders at the Jakpa palace later today Sunday
The late Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boressah was enskinned as the traditional ruler of the Gonja territory 10 years ago.
Burial will be done in accordance with the traditions of the Gonja people.
Boressah II was the son of Yapeiwura Bakari, the son of Yagbonwura Mahama of Kusawgu and Mma Nyenbali Chiraba.
