Acting General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) John Boadu, on Friday picked nomination forms at the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down.
Mr Boadu, who assumed the acting position following the suspension of Kwabena Agyepong, wants delegates to vote for him as the substantive General Secretary.
It is highly likely that Mr Boadu will become the next General Secretary of the party as his fellow contenders are virtually missing on the campaign trail so far.
“My journey towards becoming the NPP General Secretary for the next four years officially begins today as I pick Nominations Form to contest for the position. With your prayers and support, I am confident of an emphatic victory. May God see us through” Mr Boadu posted on his Facebook page Friday after picking nomination forms.
