Kasena- Nankana West DCE reported dead after short illness

The District Chief Executive of the Kasena-Nankana West District of the Upper East Region, Mr Clement Dandori, has passed away in Accra after battling a short illness.

Mr Dandori whose condition worsened after complaints of " turning sensations " in the stomach amidst pains since November last year, died dawn of Friday at the Accra Regional Hospital.

According to family spokesman, Francis Zuradam, " Mr Dandori, was very fit, strong and could talk and move about freely" and had gone for medical review at the Accra Regional hospital after initial medical treatment following the incessant pains. He however gave up the ghost few minutes after 2 am.

The family spokesman said an official statement has not been made of his death. But "plans are underway for a family meeting for a decision to be taken to that effect. His funeral arrangements will soon be announced"

The death of the DCE has dealt the New Patriotic Party the district, regional and national level a big blow; leaving shock and mourning in the hearts of many sympathizers.
