A four-month pregnant woman, Akua Philo, 37, and her two sons, Donald, 9, and Junior, 4, were burnt to death during a ferocious fire outbreak on Monday night in Ohwim Asorenkwanta at Bantama in the Ashanti region.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 11:30 pm on Monday.
They added that due to the ferocious nature of the fire, it was difficult for residents to rescue the dying family.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The Sub Metro NADMO Director, Mr. Justice Abora Kwarteng, disclosed that his outfit had a distress call around 11:30 pm yesterday but the damage had already been caused when they got to the scene.

He disclosed that there were 8 people in the house but unfortunately, the three got trapped in the fire.
Mr. Abora Kwarteng did not rule out foul play adding that an investigation has been launched into the heartwrenching incident.
