The President Chamber of local governance, Richard Fiadomor, has revealed that for the President to say that his appointees were meeting his expectations means he himself has failed.
This comment by the governance expert comes after President Nana Akufo-Addo revealed that he has no intention to reshuffle his ministers any time soon.
In an interview with North Star radio in Tamale, the President said his appointees were meeting his expectations.
While President Akufo-Addo said he evaluates the work of his ministers consistently, he feels “many of them for me have done outstanding work. Their output has been considerable, and that is what I look at.”
“If the output measures expectations, then I don’t have any strong reasons to heed the call…The calls come for all kinds of reasons; NDC wanting to destabilise the government is one. There are people who are also looking for jobs.”

Akufo-Addo’s only ministerial reshuffle was during his first term, in August 2018.
Akufo-Addo also recently revoked the appointment of Sarah Adwoa Safo, who had been absent from work for an extended period.
Sarah Adwoa Safo was the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection.
Reacting to the issue on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, Richard Fiadomor, said its common knowledge that most of the President’s appointees have failed.
He added that some of the ministers are not performing and need to be changed.
“For the President himself to say that his appointees are outstanding means that he himself has failed the country and because he has failed, he doesn’t see the anything wrong. So, we have a situation where it’s as if we have a blind person leading you, you will all fall into a ditch,” he added.
