The Founder and Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee, has lauded Dr. Nana Amo Tobbin, Chancellor of Entrance University, for his outstanding leadership, which has culminated in the university being granted a Presidential Charter.
Speaking at the Annual Thanksgiving Service of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Rev. Dr. Aryee expressed immense gratitude to God for the accomplishments of the group and its founder. She described the charter as a remarkable achievement, emphasizing its significance in Ghana’s educational landscape.
“This is truly marvelous in our sight. It is no small feat for a university to receive a Presidential Charter within such a short period. This speaks to the commitment and excellence exhibited by the leadership and the entire Tobinco Group,” she said.
Rev. Dr. Aryee also reflected on the blessings of obedience, citing Deuteronomy 28 and Isaiah 63:7 to underline the importance of adhering to God’s word. She attributed the success of the Tobinco Group and its affiliated entities to their faith-driven approach to business.
“Those of us blessed to be part of this group must remember we are mere servants of the Lord. It is through us that God manifests His blessings. If we continue in obedience, greater things are yet to come, and Ghana will undoubtedly benefit,” she added.
She further highlighted the potential for Tobinco to establish a media college as part of its strategic initiatives. According to her, such a venture would not only train journalists to excel in their craft but also instill ethical and faith-driven principles in their work.
“I envision a media college that trains journalists to inform, inspire, and report truthfully, without exaggeration or unnecessary drama. This initiative would greatly influence the narrative of our country by promoting positivity and truth,” she stated.
The Thanksgiving Service showcased the milestones of the Tobinco Group, including its diverse business portfolio, which continues to contribute significantly to Ghana’s economy. Rev. Dr. Aryee expressed optimism about the group’s future endeavors and urged members to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to excellence.
