The Ghana Grid Company Ltd (GRIDCO) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced that Gas supply from the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCO) to thermal power plants in Tema has resumed.
“All power plants which shutdown have been restored into operation. Power supply to all affected customers have also been restored,” the two institutions said in a statement.
“With the return to normalcy, GRIDCO and ECG wish to assure that we will continue our collaborative efforts to ensure continued reliable supply
“We thank our stakeholders and customers for their patience and understanding,” the statement added.
