Two Arrested After Bloody Land Dispute at Gomoa Bantama

Two men have been arrested and two others injured following a violent clash between rival landguard factions over a plot of land at Gomoa Bantama, also known as Millennium City, in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The suspects, identified as Patrick Ndego and Hassan, reportedly inflicted cutlass wounds on each other during the confrontation. Both are currently in police custody, according to the Millennium City District Police Command.

Speaking to Atinka News, the Chief of Gomoa Bantama, Nana Kwesi Amoani, said residents are living in fear due to the ongoing tension.

He revealed that the two suspects have been terrorizing innocent residents and land developers in the area, creating a state of insecurity.

The chief referenced a previous report by Atinka News in which Patrick Ndego was allegedly attacked by one Hassan Amidu, the Gomoa East Constituency Organizer, sparking fear and tension in the community.

Nana Kwesi Amoani is calling on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to intervene and ensure justice is served. He urged law enforcement to take swift action to restore calm and protect law-abiding citizens from further attacks.
