Nine (9) children drowned on Wednesday after a canoe capsized at Wiaboman- Faana in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
The canoe which was being paddled by a 15 -year old boy capsized on the Densu river after missing the route.
Nine dead bodies were retrieved after the incident while pupils survived.
