A key member of the Alan Kyeremanteng team , Hopeson Adorye, has revealed that the presidential hopeful, Alan Kojo Alan Kyeremanten spends over GHC50,000 (GHS5 billion old cedis) on funeral donations among others every month.
This comment by Hopeson Yao Adorye comes after New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in Ablekuma West vowed to vote against Alan for giving GH¢100 as transport money.
The delegates who expressed their dissatisfaction mentioned that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia had given out GH¢300 for transport during his visit to Ablekuma said the GHS100 from Alan was nothing to write home about.
The delegates asked Alan Kyeremanten to return and do the needful or risk being voted against in the impending NPP flagbearer race.
Reacting to the issue on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, Hopeson Adorye, who is a key member of the Alan Kyeremanteng campaign team, said, it would be unfair to vote against his candidate over a GHS100 transport fare.

According to him, Alan Kyeremanten has been supporting delegates in diverse ways since the beginning of his campaign.
“From last year that I joined the Alan team, he spends not less than GHS5 billion (old Cedis) monthly across the country. These monies are donations at funerals, parties, naming ceremonies among others. This is someone spending huge sums of monies on delegates and so a GHS100 transport fare should not be basis for voting against him,” Hopeson Adorye explained.
Mr Kyerematen commenced his campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region July 4, 2023 to amass support for his camp during the NPP Delegates Congress and subsequently the party primaries.
He has visited Ablekuma Central, Ablekuma North, Ablekuma West, and Ayawaso West Wuogun among others.
The NPP will hold its National Delegates Congress in August reduce the number of flagbearer aspirants from ten to five before ahead of the primaries in November 2023.
