Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has conceded defeat in the just-ended elections in Ghana.
He also congratulated former President John Mahama for “his decisive victory” .
Addressing the media on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia said his party’s internal data pointed to a decisive win for former President John Mahama
Dr. Bawumia assured NPP supporters that the party would learn from this experience and bounce back stronger in future elections.
Addressing the nation Bawumia said, “I respect the decision of Ghanaians, I took this decision to stop the growing tension.”
He urged all our supporters to remain calm and prioritize the peace and stability of our nation.
