Management and staff of Atinka Media Village (AMV), on Thursday visited the home of the late Francis Sasu affectionately called F.S, to empathize with his wife and family.
The delegation was led by Atinka Media Village’s Managing Director, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour.
Veteran journalist Francis Sasu, affectionately called FS, until his demise was the Head of News and current Affairs of Atinka Media Village.
He also served as a faculty member on Atinka FM’s Kronkron big band reality show board.
Mr. Sasu passed on Wednesday, 21st November 2018 at his residence at Amasaman on Wednesday afternoon hours after visiting the hospital for a checkup.
Atinka Media Village’s Managing Director, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour who spoke on behalf the Group Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Elder Samuel Amo Tobbin and AMV management, stated that F.S was a committed staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth production of news, current affairs programmes and all programmes on Atinka TV.
He added that the Group Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Elder Samuel Amo Tobbin, has given an assurance that the company will take the necessary steps to offer F.S a befitting burial.
President for the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), Roland Affail Monney, who was also there to console the family mentioned that the GJA will support in whatever way that they can until our brother is laid to rest peace.
Mr. Sasu, until his demise was a staunch member of the GJA who also served on the GJA awards committee board for years.
