I want to talk about politics today.
When Madam Charlotte Osei was the chairperson of the Electoral Commission under the Government of NDC, I saw how some members of the NPP attacked her mercilessly claiming that she wanted to rig the election for President Mahama.
At the time, members of the NDC became spokespersons for the EC and Madam Charlotte Osei defending every decision she took including the adoption of the infamous EC logo.
Now Madam Jean Mensah is the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission under an NPP government and suddenly members of NDC are attacking her savagely, claiming she wants to rig the election for the NPP while members the ruling party have also become spokespersons of the Electoral Commission, defending every decision.
Isn’t it obvious that any party in government is happy with whatever the EC does and any party in opposition is unhappy with whatever the EC does?
Isn’t it time we (the youth) realize that these political parties (NDC and NPP) are just interested in what will make them win power at all cost and not what will make us prosper?
Look, NDC is busy fighting the EC not to compile new voters register not because they care about me and you but because it may not help them win the election.
NPP is also busy supporting the EC to compile a new register not because they care about me and you, but because it may help them win the election.
The NDC is busy preaching violence over the new voter register because you (I will never fight for any politician) will be the fighting tool. After you are dead, they will sit on TV and radio to announce it to score political points just like the NPP did to Justice Adjakuma, the young man who lost his eyes during a Let my Vote Count demonstration in September 2015 over this same voter register. May his soul rest in peace.
The National Chairman of the People’s National Convention, Bernard Mornah has threatened violence and bloodshed if the Jean Mensah-led Electoral Commission goes ahead to compile a new voter roll for the 2020 elections.Image may contain: 2 people, text
If the above quote is true, then i don’t blame Bernard Mornah. He knows some Ghanaians will die for his agenda while his wife and children will watch your lifeless body on television in the comfort of their rooms.
Isn’t it time we as citizens corrected our mistakes by ignoring these politicians?
I recently heard the General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, a.k.a General Mosquito saying his children had lost their jobs because of his politics.
Let me ask, will Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, a.k.a General Mosquito say this if you also lose your job? Who will even tell him? Does he know you exist?.
Recently, this government was exposed for employing family and friends.
Let me ask, were you also employed?
Sometimes I feel sad to see intelligent and knowledgeable Ghanaians believing the lies of some uneducated, unintelligent, dump,  and ignorant  politicians all because  they may be in the same party.
Sometimes what they present as facts to back their claims are false but we believe them because they speak fluent English. what a pity.
People  can fight for politicians they’ve never met before. In fact, the politician doesn’t even know you exist. Are you okay?
Unfortunately, the people who defend their parties  and fight for the politicians think they are sensible than the rest of us oooo.
I have friends in both NPP and NDC but they know they can’t bring their nonsense on me.
It is about time  we stopped  being their working tools.
Fellow Ghanaian youths, we need to wise up. All we need to do is stand up and their little game is over.

When they call for a demonstration, let their family members join them. We will watch on TV.
When they call for a fight, let’s leave them to fight with their families.
When they come around to campaign, let’s not leave our jobs to stand in the sun or rain to listen to them.
When we change our ways, they will change their strategy.
