Bubbly Abigail Mensah and Anita Kambodin qualified at the Navrongo audition of Atinka TV’s flagship reality show, GTBank Di Asa Season Five.
They were selected based on their weight, dance skill and the audience appeal.
The two are going to represent Upper East Region in the main Di Asa competition in Accra after the auditions are done.
They were given souvenirs from all the sponsors of the show.
Abigail Mensah and Anita will add up to the 10 queens who have been selected from Jasikan, Aflao, Somanya, Koforidua and Nkawkaw.
Meanwhile, the next audition will be held at the Forecourt of Nayiri’s Palce, Nalerigu in the North East Region on Saturday, August 21 2021.
The GTBank Di Asa Season Five will award the ultimate winner with a brand new salon car.
The First runner up will be given a mini truck (Abossey Okai Macho), while the second runner up takes home a tricycle (Aboboyaa).
Aside these, the queens will also enjoy goodies from the sponsors of the show.
All plus size women at Nalerigu who are interested in the show are encouraged to join the Di Asa team to register for free and take part in the audition.

The Ashanti Region has been ranked first in the cases of suicide across the country in a yet to be released report for the first two quarters of the year, 2021.
This was made known by Dr Amma Mpomaa Konadu, a Specialist and the Deputy Director for Mental Health at Ghana Health Service at a meeting with the media in Kumasi on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Giving a regional break down on suicide cases, Dr Mpomaa admitted that the trend was worrisome since there has been an increase across all the regions in the country compared to last year, 2020.
She suggested that drastic measures are taken by all to curb to situation.
Meanwhile, Dr Mpomaa emphasised the need to engage the media to educate them on responsible reportage and appropriate language to be used when writing or speaking about suicide on their platforms.
