Atinka TV’s Christopher Pappoe enstooled Asafohene of Kpando Dzewoe

Atinka TV’s Volta Regional Correspondent, Mr. Christopher Kofi Pappoe, has been enstooled as the Asafohene of Kpando Dzewoe in the Akpini State of the Volta Region.

He is now Togbe Dzablu IV.

Speaking at a ceremony to enstool him, Mr. Christopher Pappoe observed that every community was craving development and progress, saying that these virtues thrive in peace and unity.

Although he did not want to make any promises, he said his first priority was to ensure a clean environment, noting that ‘cleanliness is next to Godliness’.

“If we have a clean environment all other things will be added unto us. Nobody can come from anywhere to clean our community for us. I am therefore appealing to the youth of Kpando Dzewoe to bring all hands on deck so that together we will make Dzewoe the neatest community in the Kpando Municipality and if possible the Volta Region. There is more to come once we live together in love, peace and unity,” he said.

He thanked God for this great opportunity to serve his people, as well as the Kingmakers for the confidence they reposed in him.

“I am under oath to serve the people of my community. I accept the challenge however difficult. All I ask is that God should give me wisdom and understanding to enable me face the task with diligence, truthfulness and humility,” he said.

Mr Christopher Pappoe continued that,”I am also grateful to the entire Dzablu Royal Clan, the Chiefs and Elders of Dzewoe and the Chiefs and Elders of Atsiafume Division for your support, advises and encouragement during the days of my confinement. I pledge myself to your service and I hope by the grace of God I will not let you down.”
