Celebrated broadcast journalist and comedian, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, has made a strong case for the creative industry—particularly comedy and music—describing it as a vast field capable of generating massive employment opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
In a spirited interview with Roman Fada on Atinka TV’s Entertainment Lounge, D.K Yeboah did not mince words in expressing his frustrations with successive governments over what he calls the “deliberate neglect” of the entertainment industry.

“The comedy industry is a big industry,” he said, “but our leaders are not helping us. Since 1992, both the NDC and NPP have promised job creation in their manifestos, but it remains on paper.”
Despite the challenges, Dan Kwaku Yeboah is pushing ahead with another edition of his flagship event, “DKY Night of Comedy and Music”, set to light up the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM sharp.
The show promises an unforgettable night of laughter and rhythm, with some of Ghana’s finest comedic talents including Akrobeto and Clemento Suarez, who will serve as Masters of Ceremony.
