Coming to Africa movie previewed in Accra

A movie produced by American Actor, Anwa Jamison, has been previewed in Accra prior to its premier which is slated for Friday, 21, 2023 at the Accra Mall.

Coming to Africa is the first movie shot in Ghana in collaboration with U.S based movie actors, as well as Ghanaian actors.

The movie features a couple of celebrities including Anwa Jamison from the United States of America, Nana Ama McBrown, Khalil Kain, Nadia Buari, David Dontoh, Gloria Sarfo, Nikki Samonas, Paulina Oduro, Peter Ritchie, PY Boateng, Kwaku Brown And Andy Tetteh.

Th film covers the culture of Ghana, a popular tourist destination in Africa, how romantic Africans are, with our humility and manner of life.

The title, “Coming to Africa” attracted several curious white men and women from the United States to attend the film screening at the Soho Bar restaurant near Kotoka International Airport.

According to Ghanaian film actor, David Dontoh, “if our industry continues to collaborate with producers from outside, it will help our industry rise to a higher level. This is the kind of partnership we require. Coming to Africa is one of the greatest films I’ve ever made.”

He continued , “A film on culture and tourism. When I was a youngster, I used to watch Indian and Chinese movies without understanding the language, but I was able to understand because of the characters and the context.”

The actual movie premiere will take place on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Silverbird Accra Mall and West Hills between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. Kumasi’s Royal View Cinema.
