Covid-19: Four major Airports in Ghana disinfected

 
Ghana’s giant waste management company Zoomlion on Tuesday 28th April, 2020 disinfected  four major airports in Ghana against viruses and bacteria.
Kotoka International Airport, Tamale Airport, Kumasi Airport, Takoradi Airport were all beneficiaries of the exercise.
Other Airstrips like, the Wa Airstrip, Sunyani Airstrip will be the next to benefit from the disinfection exercise.
At the Kotoka International Airport, all terminals- Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3 were disinfected. Car parks, offices, airspace, walls, floors and others were also disinfected.
Speaking to the media at the Kotoka International Airport, Head of Disinfection Exercise at Zoomlion, Rev. Ebernezer Kwame Addai said the exercise forms part of Zoomlion’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) aimed at fighting  Covid-19.
He said the chemical used for the disinfection exercise  is very safe and all affected Airports will be opened to workers tomorrow.
On his part, Minister for Aviation, Hon. Kofi Adda commended Zoomlion for embarking on the disinfection exercise at the  Airports and Airstrips.
