Former Parliamentary Candidate for Kpone Katamanso, Hopeson Adorye, has admitted that, he is a sympathizer of Alan Kyeremanten’s Movement for Change.
Mr. Adorye, who was one of the campaign spokespersons for Mr Kyermanten when he was vying for the NPP presidential slot, quickly added that he was still a member of the elephant family.
Mr Adorye was speaking to our reporter on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Greater Accra Volunteers for the Movement for Change at the GNAT Hall on Wednesday .
“I am still a member of the NPP. I’ve paid my dues including last month (October). I am only here to sympathize with Alan,” Hopeson told our reporter, Ebenezer Kewaw Madugu.
When asked if he was ready to face the consequences of his action, he retorted, “I’ll vote for Alan as President and vote for an NPP Parliamentarian”.
“Does it mean you don’t trust your candidate?” Our reporter asked but Hopeson responded, “In 2014, some NDC Members voted for NPP and they were not suspended so why should I be suspended. If they sack me, I will take all the two votes away”.
