Ketu North CPP Commissions First Party Office to Mark Nkrumah’s Birthday

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) in the Ketu North Constituency has officially opened its first-ever party office in the area, coinciding with the celebration of the 116th birthday of Ghana’s first President and founder of the CPP, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The event, held in Dzodze, was attended by party executives and supporters. It formed part of national activities to honour Dr. Nkrumah, who was born on September 21, 1909.

Speaking at the commissioning, Prince Vincent Ahiadzro, a Member of the Council of State from the Volta Region, called for unity within the party.

He also urged members to work collectively towards rebuilding the party’s strength and appeal ahead of the next general elections.

Paul Nuwordu, a member of the CPP’s National Reorganization Committee, highlighted ongoing restructuring efforts in the Volta Region, aimed at revitalizing the party at the grassroots level.

He noted that the opening of the new office will enhance administrative efficiency and serve as a central point for party activities in the constituency.

Other party executives echoed the need for unity and renewed commitment, expressing confidence in the CPP’s prospects for the 2028 elections.

The new office stands as a symbol of the party’s renewed efforts to regain political relevance and reconnect with its historical roots.
