The Greater Accra Director of Operations of the New Patriotic Party, Hon. Kofi Antwi (Governor) has issued a passionate call for unity, discipline, and party loyalty as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares to hold its 2025 National Delegates Conference at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday.
In a strongly worded message to delegates, supporters, and party executives, Hon. Antwi reminded all stakeholders that this is a time to consolidate the NPP’s strength, not divide it.
“This is not the time for division. It is not the time for self-promotion. It is the time for one party, one voice, and one mission,” he emphasized.
Framing the conference as a moment of renewal and responsibility, he described the gathering as “a call to duty and a renewal of our covenant with the Ghanaian people,” affirming the party’s readiness to offer “bold, visionary leadership” in the lead-up to the 2028 general elections.
To maintain unity and order, Hon. Antwi urged delegates to refrain from bringing individual paraphernalia or campaign-branded materials to the venue. Only the red, white, and blue colours of the NPP will be allowed, a decision aimed at discouraging factionalism and personal branding.
“We are a party of law, tradition, and respect. Let us honour our rules and protect our peace. Let us show Ghana and the world that the NPP is prepared to take power — and to lead with dignity and integrity,” he said.
As thousands of party members travel from across all 16 regions to converge in Accra, Hon. Antwi offered prayers for safe journeys and a successful conference. He expressed confidence that the presence of each delegate would contribute to the strengthening of the party and the advancement of Ghana.
“The task ahead is great, but so is our resolve. Together, let us rise. Together, let us build. Together, let us lead,” he concluded.
The 2025 NPP National Delegates Conference is expected to bring together party leadership, regional representatives, and key stakeholders to deliberate on the future of the party and affirm its strategy going forward.
