A young lady has been shot and killed by her jealous boyfriend at Adum, near Aseda House, in the Ashanti Region.
On Thursday at approximately 8 p.m., Maa Adjoa, her partner (Tycoon), and another woman were spotted, according to reports.
The reports further revealed that a misunderstanding occurred between Maa Adjoa and Tycoon around 10 p.m. The young man accused his fiancée of infidelity, but she denied the allegation.
Following a series of heated arguments, the young man drew a gun and pointed it at his fiancée. However, she sensed danger and begged the tycoon to spare her life, claiming she had never cheated.
Maa Adjoa was fatally shot five times by her jealous boyfriend, who killed her instantaneously.
According to the report, the suspect waited until the victim was deceased before fleeing the scene on a Pragia tricycle.
The eyewitness also disclosed that he and his companions transported the victim to the hospital, but he confirmed that Maa Adjoa had already passed away.
Officers from the Kumasi Central Police arrived at the crime site and recovered five bullets.
The police are investigating to apprehend the alleged murderer (Tycoon), who is believed to be from Breman in the Suame municipal area of the Ashanti region.
