Lil Win granted GHC50,000 bail

Popular Ghanaian Actor, Kwadwo Nkansah also known as Lil Win has been granted by the Asokore Mampong District Court.

The accused was charged with dangerous driving and negligently causing harm but his plea was not taken.

The court presided by Samuel Buabin Quansah, granted him bail of GHS50,000 with two sureties to be justified on the grounds of his health condition.

The Kumawood Actor was granted bail after his Lawyer, Margaret Adjei-Twum, told the court that his client was critically ill and suffered internal bleeding during the road crash.

Lil Win, she said, was popular and would not run from prosecution if granted bail.

The prosecution did not oppose the bail plea by the Lawyer for the accused.

The Actor will reappear before the court on June 27, 2024.

Lil Win was arrested today’s morning after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for his involvement in a road crash that led to the death of a 3-year-old boy, Richard Ampomah.

The accident occurred on May 25, 2024, at Amakom in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti region.
