Nana Yaw Fianko Questions Traditional Rites in Kofi Adomah’s Incident

Nana Yaw Fianko

In a thought-provoking post on his Facebook page, a senior journalist with the Tobinco Media Group – Bullet TV , Nana Yaw Fianko (The Speaker), has raised important questions about the incident involving colleague journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwani and Domaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II.

“Per our tradition, has Dormaahene been formerly informed?” he asked.

For those who may be unaware, Kofi Adomah was involved in a shooting incident during the 25th-anniversary celebrations of Domaahene Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II in December last year.

The incident left Kofi Adomah with a serious injury that nearly cost him his left eye.

Recently, Kofi Adomah broke his silence on the incident, offering clarity on the circumstances surrounding the injury and an update on his recovery.

However, what caught Nana Yaw Fianko‘s attention was the apparent frustration expressed by Kofi Adomah’s wife, Nana Abena Etruba I, towards the Domaahene for his perceived silence regarding her husband’s predicament.

Nana Yaw Fianko‘s questions are centered around whether Kofi Adomah and his family have officially informed the Domaahene about the incident, as tradition demands.

He wonders if the families of Kofi Adomah and his wife should not have formally informed Nana Dormaahene before engaging in media and social media discussions.

Nana Yaw Fianko is also asking whether Domaahene and the leaders in charge of the event were aware that Kofi Adoma was officially invited to cover the program.

“Officially, is Dormaahene aware of his coming there to cover the event live? Am not too sure Nana Dormaahene will be this wicked to let Kofi suffer this way but lets cool heads come to play here and allow our traditional traits work here. Opanin Due Mate Mante” part of his post on Facebook.

Nana Yaw Fianko‘s post has sparked a lively debate, with many weighing in on the importance of following traditional protocols in such situations.

While some have expressed sympathy for Kofi Adomah and his family, others have emphasized the need for respect and adherence to traditional norms.

As the conversation continues, one thing is clear: Nana Yaw Fianko‘s questions have shed light on the complexities of traditional protocols and the need for respect and understanding in such situations.
