A total of 53 candidates have been cleared to participate in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region.
However, three candidates have been disqualified from taking part in the race.
The three aspirants are Ebenezer Quayson from the Upper Denkyira West Constituency, Eric Turkson of the Agona East, and surprisingly, the 2020 parliamentary candidate for Agona West Paul Ofori Amoah.
Vetting in three constituencies has, however, been put on hold by the committee.
