The Ghana Police says it has deposited an amount of GH₵2.5 Million from suspect Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as Nam 1
“The Police, on the advice of the Office of the Attorney-General, on Friday 20th October 2023, received an amount of GH₵2.5 Million from suspect Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as Nam 1,” the police said in a statement.
The said amount has been deposited in the Police Exhibit account at the Bank of Ghana (BoG) for the attention of the Court.
The amount is part of investigations into petitions received from some customers of MenzGold Ghana Company Limited and Brew Marketing Consult Limited, currently before the Accra High Court against suspect Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as Nam 1.
“We would like to state that the decision on the disbursement of the money would be determined by the court,” the statement added.
