The Founding President of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education (IMANI CPE), Franklin Cudjoe, has called for greater economic discipline and sound policy management to build resilient African economies.

Speaking at the Students & Young Professionals African Liberty Academy (SYPALA), Franklin Cudjoe said African countries continued to face challenges because of their heavy reliance on natural resources and primary commodities.

He said governments must ensure that economic policies were well coordinated and consistently implemented, citing Ghana’s fiscal and public financial management reforms as examples.
