The Tobinco Group of Companies on Thursday, December 15, 2022 held its annual thanksgiving service 2022 at the Church of Pentecost (COP), Dr Thomas Wyatt Assembly with a call on all to give thanks to God.
The annual thanksgiving service, dubbed, “A Thousand Tongues of Praise,” brought together Group Heads, Subsidiary Heads, Staff of the TGC, Apostles, Pastors, Customers, Partners and church members to give thanks to God for his blessings on them throughout the year.

The Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I, thanked the Almighty God for his blessings upon his life and family.

He said despite whatever challenges the group faced, the Lord was good to the company, therefore appreciating him for his mercies.
“I must admit that the year was quite a tough one; Two years of covid, and also Russia’s war on Ukraine and its effects on the economies of the world, among others, made it a mundane challenge to all businesses globally. But through it all, the Lord has been good to us and in this Thanksgiving Service we would want to raise our voice with a 1000 tongues of praise to celebrate what the Lord has done for us all,” he said.
In a speech read by His Daughter, Ms Abigail Tobbin, the Tobinco Boss expressed appreciation to Group Heads, Heads of subsidiaries and all Management, Team Members for their untiring efforts towards the company’s vision for the year 2022 ,”Passion and Drive, Key to Profit Maximization.”
“I would also like to extend my profound gratitude to the entire staff of Tobinco Group for the unrelenting efforts you put in during the year 2022. Had you not stood with us, we wouldn’t have been able to weather the storms of challenges and impediments that came our way this year. Together, we have overcome! And we will continue to walk in this victory! God bless you all! “And we are also very confident that in the coming years, the testimonies will be more glorious because He who has begun this good work in Tobinco Group will carry it on to a perfect completion, in Jesus’ name!,” he said.

He thanked all customers and partners within and outside the country and appreciated their uncompromising loyalty towards the Group.
He continued,”You have been superb and we look forward to doing many more businesses with you in the coming years.”
Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I, thanked the Church of Pentecost, all Apostles and Pastors, for their unflinching support over the years.
He also thanked his hardworking and supportive wife, Mrs. Mercy Araba Sika Tobbin, as well as his children, Mrs Margaret Tobbin, Ms Abigail Tobbin and Ms Jedida Tobbin for their support to him.
Preaching the sermon, Evangelism Director of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Amos Jimmy Marki urged all to appreciate what God has done for them and give thanks to him.
He said in all situations, one must give thanks to God, noting that it is the grace and the favour of God that we are all alive and doing well.
Apostle Dr Amos Jimmy Marki said even in the current economic situation the country is facing, the people must give thanks to God because there is peace in the country.

He noted that appreciating God even during challenges can open doors for people, stressing the need to appreciate what God has done for all.
“In all things, give thanks to God for there is nothing greater than the people of God appreciating him for what he has done,” he said.
Apostle Dr Amos Jimmy Marki prayed for blessings upon all for appreciating what God has done and giving thanks to him.
