Video: Armed robbers attack pharmacy at Tema

Armed robbers last Sunday attacked  Top Up Pharmacy at Community (4) Tema. 

The robbers made away with the day’s sales as well as products from the pharmacy.

The CCTV cameras in the building captured three armed robbers in helmets, demanding monies from the shop attendants, who were visibly shaken.

The cameras further captured the robbers stealing many products from the pharmacy.

According to residents of Tema and Ashaiman, the area has experienced a series of robbery cases over the past four weeks.

On Friday, October 26, 2018, gunmen attacked fuel attendants at a filling station at Community 8 and made away with huge sales.

The last robbery incident occurred at a hotel (name withheld) at Community 8, and again, the robbers succeeded in bolting way with cash.

Within the same period, two mobile money vendors and a boutique belonging to the wife of the former MP for Ningo-Prampram, Enoch Teye Mensah were also robbed in Ashaiman. 

In all cases, the robbers hid their pistols and wore helmets to conceal their faces.

Meanwhile, residents are questioning the whereabouts of the Phantom Three drone which the Tema Regional Police Command used to make some arrests after it was launched a few months ago.

It appears that the drone which was procured by the immediate past Regional Police Commander, Nana Asomah Hinneh to track and arrest criminals in the Region had gone to hibernation after that two-days show to the surprise of the residents.
