2025/26 GPL Week 11 Match Report: Swedru All Blacks Edge Dreams FC in a Five-Goal Thriller

Swedru All Blacks secured a hard-earned 3–2 victory over Dreams FC in a pulsating five-goal encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

The visitors, determined to end their four-match winless run in the Ghana Premier League, started with intent and were rewarded in the 20th minute when Rudolph Mensah opened the scoring.

Dreams FC responded almost immediately. Suraj Seidu confidently dispatched a penalty in the 24th minute to bring the game level. The hosts then took the lead for the first time through Chris Yaovi Guede, who finished neatly in the 38th minute.

But All Blacks refused to go into the break trailing. Abdul Aziz produced a brilliant strike on the stroke of halftime, restoring parity in spectacular fashion.

The second half began with a spark from the visitors. Just two minutes after the restart, Benjamin Adjei fired home what proved to be the winning goal, completing the comeback.

All Blacks nearly extended their advantage later in the game, but Dreams goalkeeper Gidios Aseako pulled off a crucial save. Despite late pressure from the home side, Coach Ahmed Fathy’s men held firm to claim all three points.

Dreams FC, led by Winfred Dormon, will look to bounce back when they travel to face Eleven Wonders, while Swedru All Blacks aim to build momentum as they prepare to host Young Apostles in their next league outing.
