27th GJA Awards: Atinka Media Village bags two Awards

The Atinka Media Village (AMV) bagged two awards at the 27th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Media Awards.

At the event, AMV’s Vivian Adu received an award under the Gender Category with her documentary, “Shattered Vows”.

Atinka 104.7 FM’s Efisem , hosted by Akosua Agyeiwaa Bonsu also received an award under the Best Radio/TV Programme (Ghanaian Language).

The Tobinco Group of Companies also presented an award to GBC’s Beatrice Senadju under the Health Category.

The flagship annual event of the GJA is meant to celebrate professional excellence with awards in 34 competitive categories up for grabs.

The theme for this year’s awards is: “Leveraging media freedom to sustain the democratic and security architecture: The litmus test of Election 2024”.

Female journalist of the year: Francisca Enchill, Joynews

Komla Dumor Most promising journalist of the year: Neta Kris Abiana Parsram (Multimedia)
