The song, which was released about a year a go is still doing well on music platforms, landing her many awards including the Gospel Song of the Year and Gospel Artist of the Year at the recent VGMAs.
She said she had experienced life struggles due to her family background, recounting how sometimes she could be in need but would not get help, saying through her music, she is no longer in that situation, owing it all to God.
“It is the Lord’s hands. When it is the Lord’s time for you, then it is the right time for you,
if the Lord says to day, he is uncovering you for the world to see you, he will do it for the whole world to hear of you,” she said.
The multiple award-winning star added ,”Although I knew that everyone relates to the message in W’ay3 Me Yie, what people have been through in the past, I can say that it is the Lord’s hands that has made this one successful
