NHIA gets new deputy CEO

Louisa Atta-Agyemang has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

The announcement is contained in a statement issued by the Presidency on December 13, 2023 and signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante.

“Pursuant to Section 15 (1) (c) of the National Health Insurance Act, 2012 (Act 852), I am pleased to inform you that the President has appointed you to act as the Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Operations of the National Health Insurance Authority (the “Authority”) pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission,” the letter read.
