Ghanaian internationally recognized singer and performer, King Promise, has been crowned Overall Artist of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

King Promise beat out stiff competition from notable artists such as Stonebwoy, King Paluta, Kwaku Smoke, Blacko Sherif, and Team Eternity.
Many Ghanaians had tipped him for the ultimate award, considering his impressive numbers and dominance in the music space.
The “Terminator” singer’s win is a moment of glory, validating his hard work and artistry.
His ability to consistently produce hit songs and connect with his fans has earned him a reputation as one of Ghana’s top artists.

Aside the Artiste of the Year title, he also took home awards for Best Afropop Song of the Year and Best Afrobeat/Afropop Artiste of the Year.

“I just want to say a big thank you to the best fans in the world. If anyone is watching me right now have a dream, use me as an example of resilience. When I broke out on the scene, I had seven nominations and I left with zero.
“While some people laughed, I just worked harder because I believe in God’s timing. Today I am the chosen one,” he said.
“I want to say thank you to my parents and siblings. I’m so proud that on a day like this, I get to spend it with my family.
Mommy, thank you for believing in me. You never stopped me when I started making music while still in school,” he added.
His win serves as an inspiration to aspiring artists and a reminder of the rewards that come with dedication and perseverance.
