850 women with disabilities benefit from govt’s entrepreneur fund

Over 850 women entrepreneurs with disabilities have benefited from a dedicated fund that has been created to expand their businesses, President Akufo Addo has said.
The President made this statement while delivering the State of the Nation Address on the floor of Parliament Thursday.
According to the President, as part of Government’s disability policy, all MMDCEs have representation from persons with disabilities in order for them to contribute at the local level of governance
“It’s critical that social protection interventions are targeted at people who genuinely need them. So far 850 women entrepreneurs with disabilities have benefited from the dedicated fund that has been created to expand their businesses, “ he said.
