Legon PRESEC wins 2020 NSMQ

The Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, (PRESEC) has emerged winners of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz after upstaging Adisadel College (ADISCO) and Opoku Ware School (OWASS).

At the end of the fifth round of a tough competition, OWASS came third with 21 points, ADISCO came second with 31 points and PRESEC won with 36 points.

The students who represented OWASS in the grand finale from the beginning were Richmond Kyei Marfo, Noble Epton Asamoah.

Those who represented PRESEC were Benjamin Quansah Nketsiah and Gakpetor Daniel kekeli whiles Justice Apaw, Henneh Ivan Yaw represented ADISCO.

But along the line, some of the representatives were substituted as the competition became more tough.

OWASS is a 2-time winner that won 1997 and 2002 but its been 18 years since their last win.

ADISCO is also a past champion that won in 2016 whiles Legon PRESEC, a 5-time champion that won in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2009 becomes a 6th time Champion.

The winner of today’s grand finale, PRESEC takes over from St Augustine College that won the trophy last year.
